In the quiet community of Ravenel, South Carolina, a domestic dispute on May 17, 2016, escalated into a tragedy that claimed the lives of three generations of a family. On that Tuesday afternoon, Charleston County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a mobile home park on Savannah Highway following reports of gunfire. Inside one of the homes, they discovered a scene of immense violence. Fifty-five-year-old Betty Mungin, a Black female, was found deceased near the front door.
