I came across a detail in the Denise Couplin and Deziyah Davis case that really got me thinking. It's so tragic what the family has gone through, and I can't imagine how difficult this journey has been. I was struck by the involvement of Katherine Baucom-Cowick. Given that she was released on such a high bond and her trial has been delayed for so long, it makes me wonder how these delays are impacting the family emotionally. Having this uncertainty hang over them must be incredibly taxing. With Cowick's sentence already given, it's crucial that justice is fully realized for everyone involved. I hope the trial moves forward soon, providing clarity and some measure of peace to those still waiting. Anyone else have thoughts on how the legal system's pace affects the families of victims in such cases?
