It’s difficult to imagine the courage it must have taken to step into such a dangerous situation. It reminded me of how selfless these men were, putting others' safety before their own and ultimately paying the ultimate price. What truly breaks my heart is thinking about their families and the immense loss they're still coping with. It feels so unjust when lives of those who dedicate themselves to protect us are taken so senselessly. I can only hope that the community rallied around the families, not just with support, but in actively ensuring their needs are met. I heard about the SFC Charles A. Judge Jr. Memorial Stand Down for homeless vets. It’s a beautiful way to preserve Judge's legacy. Events like these not only honor their memory but also highlight ongoing issues our veterans face. It's a bittersweet reminder of the positive change these brave souls can inspire, even when their lives are cut short. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
