I've been thinking a lot about John Vang's disappearance and something doesn’t sit right with me about the whole situation with the bus. If he intended to travel from Tulsa to California by bus, wouldn't there be some sort of digital trail? Like transaction records if he bought a ticket online or even an electronic ticket that got scanned at the station? I know it’s a long shot, but wouldn't it be worth combing through Greyhound or other bus services from the time he went missing to see if his name or description pops up anywhere in their records? I read somewhere that sometimes people travel under different names or other types of clerical errors might list them differently, so it could be tough. Or even checking surveillance footage from bus stations during that period, just in case something was missed at the time. It seems like a tedious job, but who knows, maybe there’s some lead hidden in all that data that could give us more clues on where he might have gone. Thoughts?

Has anyone else thought about revisiting the possibility that John Vang could have caught a bus to somewhere other than California? With the lack of sightings and leads in California, it makes me wonder if he changed his mind last minute and traveled elsewhere. Buses can be pretty anonymous, and if he paid in cash, tracking his movements would be difficult. Are there any records of him reaching out to relatives or friends in other states before his disappearance? It feels like an angle that might have been overlooked. Would love to hear others’ thoughts on this.
