I’ve been following Shawntrey's case and something that's really been on my mind is the location of the shooting—University Park. It's supposed to be a community hub, a safe place for kids to enjoy sports and hang out with friends. I can't help but feel for Shawntrey’s family, knowing that a place he likely felt comfortable and happy in became a site of such a horrific tragedy. What's even more puzzling is how this happened in broad daylight, yet we're still searching for answers. It makes you wonder about the sense of security for the other young people in the area. My heart goes out to his loved ones. I hope that anyone who might know anything, no matter how small it might seem, comes forward to bring some justice and peace for Shawntrey and his family.
