I've been following the tragic case of Jimmy Williamson and Mekhi Rawlinson, and my thoughts are with their families during this devastating time. One thing that's been on my mind is the lack of information from the police regarding potential suspects or motives. It's been over six years now, and the community still seems to be left in the dark. Does anyone know if there have been any recent developments or if there’s a way we can support the families in their quest for answers? It’s disheartening to see such a void of progress in a community that clearly demands justice. If there's anything we can do to help keep this case in the public eye and push for some closure, I'd love to hear your thoughts or suggestions. Stay safe, everyone!
Has anyone else read the witness accounts from the night of the shooting on Blake Street? I can't stop thinking about the man who was reportedly trying to help one of the victims into a car. It’s so haunting to imagine what he must have been going through in those moments. It sounds like he was desperate to save someone’s life. I can’t imagine the trauma for him and the neighbors who heard the shots and later saw such a chaotic scene unfold. It’s frustrating that after all this time, there are still no leads or arrests. I hope the police or anyone with knowledge finally comes forward so Jimmy Williamson's and Mekhi Rawlinson's families can find some semblance of peace. Also, sending thoughts to the survivors who were injured and witnessed everything – their journey to heal must be so difficult.
