I’ve been thinking a lot about the employees at the funeral home who had to lock themselves in a safe room after witnessing the shooting. It must have been terrifying for them to suddenly find themselves in the middle of such a violent conflict while just going about their day. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to carry on with their work after experiencing something like that. It's so important for communities and workplaces to offer support to those who find themselves in traumatic situations, even if they're just bystanders. My heart goes out to them and everyone else who had to endure this terrible day. Anyone know if there have been any community initiatives or counseling sessions offered to those affected? It seems like something that could really make a difference in helping people process and heal from this trauma.

It's been six years since Candy's tragic death, and I find myself thinking about the staff at the funeral home who witnessed that terrifying scene. It's unimaginable to be caught in such danger while just doing your job. Their quick thinking to lock themselves in a safe room likely saved their lives. It's a stark reminder of how incidents like these can reach and affect so many unexpected lives. I can't help but wonder how they managed afterward. Did the funeral home offer any support or counseling to help them process everything they saw that day? Witnessing such a violent event can leave lasting scars, and I hope they found peace and healing over time. It's a story that reminds us all to be compassionate to others because we never really know the weight they carry from such experiences.
