I’ve been thinking a lot about the case of Sasha Wall. It's been over five years now, and I can only imagine the grief her family and friends must still feel. One thing that puzzles me is how the car was left running when she was found. It makes me wonder if the attacker had an urge to flee immediately or maybe if there was some sort of confrontation right before Sasha was killed. It’s chilling to think about the sheer lack of clues or leads.
If she knew her killer, as investigators suspect, it might have been someone she trusted or at least didn’t suspect to be dangerous at first. It’s frustrating how it’s still classified as an unsolved case while her loved ones are left without answers. I hope with advancements in technology, somehow they can find new leads. And while I understand they haven't classified this as a hate crime, it seems like an angle worth reconsidering given the broader context of violence against trans individuals.
Sending strength to her family and hope for justice. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail, please consider reaching out to the authorities to finally give Sasha and her family some peace.
