It's clear the community has been shaken, and I hope the progress made by the Louisville Metro Police Department offers some semblance of comfort. Still, the emotional wounds are deep, and it’s a long road to healing. Every time something like this happens, it reinforces the urgent need for dialogue and action around gun violence.
