I’ve been thinking a lot about Reginald Chaplin's case lately. It’s really unsettling how his life was cut short with no answers in sight. I remember reading how beloved he was in the community—his funeral at the 2nd Mt. Carmel Baptist Church must have been filled with people whose lives he touched. It's hard to imagine what his family and friends are going through, not having any closure after all this time. Is there anyone here from Burton or nearby who might have more insight into what the community is feeling right now? Sometimes, the smallest detail can help, and I hope that, eventually, someone comes forward with information that can break the case open. Keeping Reginald and his family in my thoughts, hoping justice finds its way to them soon.

Hello everyone, I’ve been following the case of Reginald D. Chaplin, and something has been on my mind lately. It’s been over four years now, and there's still so little information about any suspects or motive. It's just so baffling and sad. I can't even imagine what his family is going through, still waiting for answers. From everything I’ve read, it seems he was well-loved in the community. There’s a part of me that wonders if the early morning time of the shooting means it was someone who knew his routine? It's such a strange and haunting thought. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence, but it makes you think about how close to home violence can hit. I truly hope someone with information comes forward soon. Reginald and his family deserve justice and peace. If you’re new to the area or know anything, please reach out to local authorities. Every little bit might help. Thoughts and prayers going out to everyone affected.
