Did anyone else hear about the courage of Trevay Stroman during that devastating event? It's incredibly moving to learn how this young girl, only 12 years old, bravely tried to protect her mother during such a terrifying situation. I can't imagine the fear she must have felt, yet she acted with such courage. The entire situation is devastating, but stories like Trevay's remind us of the strength and love within families, even in the direst of circumstances. It's such a harsh reminder of the urgent need for support systems to prevent domestic violence before it escalates to such a tragic level. My heart goes out to their family and friends—no one should ever have to endure this.
