Hey everyone,
I've been following Dre'Shun Marcel "Fat" Smith's case and something that stands out to me is the lack of information on the ongoing investigation, if there even is one. It's been over three years, and yet, no news about suspects or arrests? It's puzzling and frustrating.
I can't even begin to imagine what his family must be going through, especially his young son growing up with unanswered questions. I wonder what steps the local authorities are taking, or if they've shared any updates with the family privately. It seems so unfair for a family to be left in the dark like this, especially when they're already dealing with such a tragic loss.
Does anyone here have any experience or insight on how families in similar situations have pushed for more information or action from law enforcement? Any advice or information could really make a difference for Dre'Shun’s family in their pursuit of justice.

I've been thinking a lot about Dre'Shun's younger siblings lately, especially since they lost their mother too. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them to navigate life without their big brother or their mom. It's got to be such a challenging time, and I really hope they have a strong support system to lean on. Has anyone heard if there are community efforts or resources available to support his siblings, emotionally or otherwise? It's so vital that they receive as much care and support as possible, especially during this tough time. Thinking of the Smith and Greene families and sending them strength and comfort.

I came across Dre'Shun Marcel "Fat" Smith's tribute pages and was genuinely touched by the love and remembrance from his community. However, I find it deeply puzzling how there is such a lack of information about his cause of death. It seems so unusual that a young man, only 26, could pass away under circumstances that remain so quiet in the public eye. Has anyone here heard anything more specific from local news or through personal connections in Union, South Carolina? I truly feel for his family, especially his son, who will grow up with many questions. I'm hoping that in time, answers will emerge for his loved ones.
