I’ve been thinking about the role that chance encounters can play in our lives, and this case with De-Erica Fisher is just a chilling reminder of that. It’s incredibly sad to think about how such a young life was cut short, and for what? It seems like she had a promising future ahead of her, and no one should have to go through what her family is enduring right now. From what I’ve read, it seems like De-Erica and Yunique might not have known each other for very long. I wonder if anyone knows more about how their paths crossed. Was it truly just a random, tragic meeting that escalated to this horrendous outcome? The thought that something so senseless can happen because of chance is unsettling. My thoughts are with De-Erica’s family and everyone who knew her. Her absence must be felt deeply.
