In the winter of 2022, the life of 21-year-old De-Erica Fisher was tragically cut short in a field in Longs, South Carolina. On the afternoon of Sunday, January 23rd, the young woman from Godwin, North Carolina, was found at the intersection of Highway 9 and Pine Needle Drive, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The Horry County Coroner's Office confirmed that Fisher died at the scene from her injuries, a devastating loss for her family, including her young daughter.
