Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Kenyon Johnson and Malaki Mazyck, and something that's been sticking with me is the location of the incident. The fact that this tragedy happened in a library parking lot just really hits hard. Libraries are supposed to be safe spaces for learning and community, not the backdrop for violence. I can't help but think about the families who might visit that library now, carrying the weight of what happened there. The incident highlights the bigger issue of safety in our public spaces and how these violent events can touch anywhere, even places we least expect. Hoping the community can come together to support the families of Kenyon and Malaki. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless act. If anyone has more info on how the community is responding or creating safer spaces, I'd love to hear about it. Sending love and strength to Goose Creek and Summerville.
