Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Drequan Rondell Greene? I've been thinking a lot about the impact on his peers at Robert E. Howard Middle School. Losing a classmate at such a young age must be incredibly difficult for those kids, especially given the circumstances. School should be a safe space, and I can only imagine the conversations and emotional struggles his friends and classmates are facing. It’s so important for the school to offer counseling and support services to help students process this loss. Does anyone know if the school has set up any programs or memorials in his honor? Keeping Drequan’s family, friends, and the whole Orangeburg community in my thoughts.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Drequan Rondell Greene and the void his death has left in the Orangeburg community.
