In the early morning hours of July 27, 2026, the life of 28-year-old Elizabeth Gonzalez was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Corpus Christi, Texas. Police responded to a call about a shooting at a residence in the 4100 block of Christie Street around 12:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Gonzalez deceased inside the home from an apparent gunshot wound. Investigators at the scene quickly detained a man, later identified as 65-year-old Alberto Valdez, who was present at the location. ...
