Has anyone else been following the Teresa Jenkins-Self case? It's just so deeply upsetting to hear about another life taken away because of domestic violence. What really gets to me is that she was so close to welcoming a new life into this world. It's hard to even wrap my head around the magnitude of loss her family must be going through right now. I've been reading about how brave she was to make that 911 call, trying to protect herself and her baby. It’s chilling and makes you wonder how many others are facing similar situations silently. I hope this case brings more awareness and urgency to the conversation about domestic violence support systems. We can only hope her story saves others and brings some sort of justice to those affected by these senseless acts. What do you all think?

Hi everyone, I've been following the Teresa Jenkins-Self case closely, and one aspect that's been bothering me is the response time and handling of the 911 call she made. It seems like Teresa reached out for help, trying to prevent what eventually happened, and it's haunting to think about what she might have been experiencing in those moments. It's crucial that calls of this nature are taken with the utmost urgency. It makes you wonder whether there's anything that might have been done differently that could have changed the outcome. No one should feel unsafe in their own home, and it deeply saddens me to think about the fear she must have felt. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who's been impacted by domestic violence. I hope the investigation sheds light on any areas for improvement so that tragedies like this can be prevented in the future. Anyone else have thoughts on how these situations are typically handled?
