I've been following the Michael Britt case and it's just so devastating for everyone involved. One aspect that really stands out to me is the role of security at the Hampton Inn where the shooting happened. It’s shocking to think about how such a senseless act could occur in a place where people are supposed to feel safe, like a hotel. I’m wondering what specific security measures were lacking or if there were any at all. Are there any reports on how hotels like this one typically handle safety for their guests? It's just upsetting to consider how vulnerable we can be, thinking we're safe just because we're away from home. My heart goes out to Michael's family and friends. They deserve answers and some kind of justice or reassurance that improvements will be made to prevent future tragedies. What do you all think needs to be done for hotels to enhance their security?
