Has anyone else noticed the lack of CCTV or any form of surveillance footage regarding Wei Xiao's disappearance from the *Fortune Harmony*? Given that the ship was docked at a port, I would have thought there’d be at least some security cameras in the area. In many ports, camera surveillance is pretty standard, especially after 9/11, to ensure safety and security. It’s puzzling that there hasn’t been any footage released to the public that might show what happened moments after he was last seen at 6:30 p.m. I wonder if maybe the cameras were malfunctioning, or if there is footage that just hasn't been disclosed for investigative reasons. Does anyone know how law enforcement usually handles the release of such footage? Maybe some of you with maritime security experience could weigh in on what standard practices are in these situations.

Does anyone know if Wei Xiao had any connections or acquaintances in the Myrtle Grove area? I can’t help but wonder if he had a reason to leave the ship voluntarily, although it’s strange that no one reported seeing him depart. It'd be interesting to know if law enforcement explored any local leads or if they focused mainly on what happened aboard the *Fortune Harmony*. With the ship being docked, you’d think someone might have spotted something if he left on his own accord. Keep up the discussions, everyone!
