Wow, I just read about Herman Reed Jr.’s case, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I can't stop thinking about the timing of it all. It was shortly after 11 p.m. – was he out for a late-night walk or on his way home? The thought of him being caught up in something so tragic at that hour is chilling. This kind of violence leaves such a scar on communities, and North Charleston must be reeling from this loss. It pains me to think that the investigation hasn’t made much progress yet. The person who was giving him CPR before EMS arrived really must have jumped into action; they deserve recognition for trying to help in such a dire moment. If anyone who reads this has any information, even if it seems minor, you might hold the missing piece that could bring some closure to his family. Let’s hope justice is served soon.
