I’ve been thinking a lot about the forensic aspect of the Copeland case and how it all came together. It's terrifying how they almost got away with these cruel acts. I read that a lot of the evidence was gathered through meticulous work on the farm, piecing together a timeline from fragments of bones. The strength and patience it must have taken from the investigators to comb through every inch of that farm is just incredible. It’s chilling to think of how easily John Wayne Freeman and the other victims might have vanished without a trace if not for that dedication. My heart goes out to their families, who had to endure hearing these painful details. Hoping they’ve found some measure of peace knowing justice was served, at least in some way.
