Has anyone else been fixated on Shane Harrelson’s behavior in the moments after the murder? I’m baffled by how he was found tattooing “MOM” on his leg after committing such a horrific act. It's unsettling to think about the state of mind he must have been in—how disconnected from reality does one have to be to go from such violence to that kind of self-marking? Those incoherent responses to detectives hint at something profoundly disturbing within him. My heart goes out to Michelle's family and friends, who have to endure not only her loss but the devastating truth of who was responsible. I hope that some kind of justice and peace can eventually be found for them all.
