I came across Walter Lee Gregory's case and felt compelled to share something that deeply moved me. Just hours before his tragic death, Walter posted a plea for peace on his Facebook page, questioning why there was so much hatred in the community. It's haunting how someone who promoted love and unity ended up being a victim of such senseless violence.
What's even more touching is learning about his role as the primary caregiver for his mother. He seemed like a man who genuinely cared for his loved ones and his community. His donation as an organ donor also showed how his kindness continued even after his death.
I can't imagine the pain his family is going through. If anyone has any information, however small it might seem, please consider reaching out to the authorities. His family and our community deserve justice and closure.
