Has anyone looked into the whereabouts of Vicki's boyfriend during the time of the murders, specifically in regard to that missing Chevy Cavalier? It's haunting to think that a mother's worst fear—losing her child to violence—unfortunately became Mary's reality. With the boyfriend's alleged involvement in stolen cars, it seems plausible that he might have had a way to "disappear" the vehicle, especially if it was used to flee the scene or cover tracks. However, seeing as this case has gone cold for so long makes me wonder what critical evidence might have been overlooked back in 1987. Has there been any recent push to revisit the case with new technology, such as DNA testing on the hammer or other items found at the scene? Thinking about the amount of heartbreak the surviving family members must feel, it’s important for law enforcement to use every tool available to bring closure to this tragic loss. Keeping this case alive in our discussions might just inspire someone with fresh information to come forward. Does anyone know if community tips are still being actively pursued?
