Has anyone else been following the Thomas James Lapierre case? I've been reading up on it, and something that stood out to me is the delay in reporting him missing. His family didn't report him missing until nearly a year after he was last seen. I wonder what factors contributed to that delay. Could it be due to his transient lifestyle? Or perhaps there were assumptions that he might have moved to another state or Canada, given his connections? It must be tough for families of individuals who move around a lot and don’t have strong ties in one place. It seems like it makes it a lot harder to tell when something's really wrong. Also, is there any more information on the body found during the search? I haven’t been able to find any updates on that.
Has anyone come across information on Thomas's ties in Canada? I find it intriguing that he had connections there, despite mostly circulating between states like Arizona and New York. Did he have family or friends up north, or perhaps some work-related ties? Given how often he moved around, I'm curious if anyone in the Canadian border regions reported seeing him or if there were any local efforts to look into his disappearance since it's strange that there hasn't been more discussed about potential sightings or leads from that area. Also, does anyone know if Canadian authorities are involved in any way with the investigation? Any insights would be appreciated!
