I can’t stop thinking about Lionel Hampton’s case, especially the role that the Elks Lodge might play in this mystery. It’s a place many locals go for fun and camaraderie, so it’s hard to imagine something horrific happening there. Was it coincidence that this happened outside a well-known community spot, or did it play some part in making him a target? Given that he was shot in the parking lot, I wonder if anyone inside the lodge might have seen or heard anything unusual that night. Sometimes people notice small things but don’t realize their importance until much later. Has anyone heard of later accounts or witnesses who came forward from that night? Staying hopeful that someone holds a key piece of information that will eventually bring justice for Lionel and peace to his family.
