I keep thinking about Matthew Barry and the devastating impact this must have had on his family and friends. I can’t even begin to imagine the emotional toll of losing a loved one in such a sudden and violent way. From what I've read, the argument that led to the shooting seems so pointless, and it's hard to accept that something like this cost Matthew and Otis their lives. It's frustrating and confusing when you hear about a suspect being acquitted, like with Marvell Minnis. It seems like there was a lot of evidence pointing towards him, but clearly, it wasn’t enough to hold up in court. I hope Korey Edwards’ trial brings some kind of closure to those grieving. Every time justice feels out of reach, it reminds me of how important it is for law enforcement to gather solid evidence right from the start. My thoughts are with Matthew’s family; I hope they find some peace and strength moving forward.
