Seeing the sheer number of shell casings from the crime scene made me think about the terrifying level of violence that descended upon what was supposed to be a safe place for Colby. It's horrifying to imagine what those last moments were like for him and how his friends and family have had to carry this weight for so long. The detail about the phone records and the ballistic tests piqued my curiosity—it's astounding how technology can piece together fragments of a broken night to hold those responsible to account. Even with the charges brought against Thompson and Tiger, I can only hope that the trial proceeds swiftly and justly, and especially that Colby’s family finds some semblance of peace through all this. If anyone out there knows something that could help, now’s the time to speak up. Michelle, we’re all rooting for justice for Colby.
