I've been thinking a lot about the case involving Dejuan Allen and how related it might be, if at all, to Allen Young's situation. I know the charges against Dejuan were eventually dropped, but he remained behind bars for almost six years. Can you imagine the impact that must have had on him and his family? I can only hope he manages to rebuild some semblance of a normal life now that he's out. It’s deeply unsettling how the justice system sometimes leaves people in limbo for so long. Given Dejuan's case wasn't resolved due to a lack of evidence, it makes me wonder if there’s anything connecting these cases back to Allen Young's tragic death in 2018. Does anyone think there might be a pattern of evidence-related issues within similar cases from that period? Or might there be more connections between these individuals that we just don’t have the puzzle pieces for yet? My thoughts are definitely with everyone affected by these complex cases.
