I've been following Janice Thomas's case ever since the tragic events of February 8, 2018, unfolded, and it just breaks my heart for her family, especially her kids, Ladaijha and Oshay. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma they are enduring after surviving such a horrifying experience. One detail that keeps bothering me is how Ricky Dewayne Davis Jr., who was supposedly just a temporary guest, managed to escalate to such a violent outburst. Was there any prior indication that he could become dangerous, or did this all happen out of the blue? It makes me wonder about the signs we often overlook until it's too late. In situations where someone is staying temporarily, it's hard to know how to gauge their behavior or predict such deadly outcomes. I truly hope that as this case progresses in court, the truth about what led to this tragedy comes to light. Significant lessons need to be learned about recognizing red flags when someone is acting erratically, especially if substances like methamphetamine are involved. My thoughts are with Janice’s family every step of the way. They deserve justice and peace, now more than ever.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around this terrible event in Poplar Bluff. Poor Janice and her family didn’t deserve any of this. I can’t stop thinking about how brave Ladaijha and Oshay must have been in such a terrifying situation, especially after enduring those horrible injuries. It’s haunting to think about those moments before everything went wrong. I keep wondering if anyone nearby knew something was off with Davis before that night. If only someone could have stepped in earlier. My thoughts are with the Thomas family as they try to heal from this unimaginable tragedy. How have the local community been supporting them, I wonder? It’s important they know they’re not alone in this.

I've been following the tragic case of Janice Thomas and am honestly so moved by the bravery shown by Janice and her family. It's unimaginable what they went through that night. I wanted to shed some light on Oshay Thomas-Allen, one of the victims who survived. Being shot in the mouth is incredibly serious and potentially life-threatening, and to think that Oshay survived is nothing short of a miracle. It speaks volumes about their will to live. I can’t help but think about the long road to recovery Oshay and Ladaijha must be facing—not just physically but emotionally. We often focus on the judicial process and ensuring justice is served, but these survivors will carry the trauma with them forever. I hope they have a network of support around them, as the aftermath of such violence is a journey in itself. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts to support the Thomas family? It's so important that they know they're not alone.
