Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the safety protocols for students at universities like San Francisco State, especially in light of Yuchuan Guo's tragic murder. It's so difficult to comprehend how something like this could happen in what is supposed to be a secure environment for learning and growth. He was on the verge of such an incredible achievement—graduating with a master’s degree in international relations. I can only imagine the pride and excitement he and his loved ones must have been feeling. I wonder if any of his classmates or friends have come forward with more insights about his life or if he ever mentioned any concerns or unusual encounters leading up to that day. It might provide some direction in understanding this senseless act. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are surely still reeling from their loss, and I hope they find some peace through this community’s support. If anybody has any ideas on what might help the investigation or wants to discuss possible safety measures universities could implement to protect their students better, I'm all ears.
