Has anyone else been following the details about Kimberly Wilson's case? I recently read about how she seemed to have taken every step she could to protect herself, even going so far as to buy a gun for self-defense. It’s deeply unsettling to think that she lived in such fear and that despite all her efforts, things still ended this way. I can’t shake the thought of her having to sneak around just to avoid being seen while seeking help. I feel for her family and hope they find some solace in the conviction. Does anyone have insights into how common it is for victims to try and take these protective steps, and yet still face such outcomes? It's incredibly disheartening to think how broken our systems might be when it comes to truly protecting those in danger.
