It's truly a tragedy what happened to Montez Blake. I keep thinking about how he was homeless and might not have had a stable support system to help him in tough times. Homelessness often makes individuals more vulnerable and invisible, both of which could have contributed to the unfortunate lack of immediate leads in his case. It's unsettling to know that someone's life can be taken and just fade into the background of a city with so many crime cases like Kansas City in 2020. Does anyone know if there have been any community-led efforts to bring more attention to Montez's case or similar ones? I believe that people like him deserve justice just as much as anyone else, and sometimes it takes the community pushing for answers to really shake things up. If anyone on here has any updates or knows how to support these efforts, that’d be amazing. Hoping for a breakthrough that brings some closure and peace to those who care about him.
