Hey everyone, I've been following Deosha Purnell's case like many of you, and my heart truly goes out to her family during this unimaginable time. Something that really struck me was the community's response after her tragic death. It seems like everyone who knew her talks about her incredible sense of humor and how she could light up a room with her laughter. It's just so incredibly sad to think such a bright spirit was taken so soon. What really stands out is the impact her story has on the community. I've read how local groups and leaders are pushing harder than ever to address youth violence. It makes a person wonder—what more can we do as a community to protect young ones like Deosha from such senseless acts? How can we channel this loss into a force for change? I hope justice is served for her, but also that we can see some real progress in making our streets safer.
