Just read about how the investigation into Charles Blakey’s murder unfolded, and my heart goes out to his family and loved ones. I can’t imagine the pain they must be feeling. What’s really sticking with me is the role that the rented Dodge Journey played in the whole situation. It’s chilling to think that something as mundane as a vehicle rental could be tied to such a tragic event. Renting a car is such an everyday thing, and here it became the setting for such a terrible incident. Has anyone else thought about how factors like this play a part in these cases? It makes me wonder about the importance of details and how even the smallest decisions can lead to unforeseen outcomes.
