Sandra Crispo, a 54-year-old woman from Hanson, Massachusetts, was last seen on August 7, 2019. She had been dropped off at her home by her son-in-law after a routine trip to a car repair shop. Surveillance footage captured her later that afternoon purchasing cigarettes at a nearby Cumberland Farms. However, when her daughter, Laina McMahon, tried to contact her the following day, she was unable to reach her. Concerned, McMahon visited Sandra’s home on August 9, 2019, only to find it empty, with the back door unlocked, the air conditioner and lights on, and Sandra’s dog left unattended inside the house.
Crispo's disappearance was highly unusual as she had no history of leaving without notice, and there was no sign of a struggle or forced entry. Her purse and shoes were missing, but there has been no activity on her bank account since her disappearance, and she did not own a cell phone or computer at the time. Family members have expressed concern that foul play may have been involved, though authorities have not been able to confirm this.
