Michael Edling Flaherty, aged 18, was last seen on August 25, 1980, in Cascade, Idaho. At the time of his disappearance, Michael was carrying a 30-30 rifle and was wearing a red hoodie, blue jeans, and size 10 tennis shoes. He spoke both English and Russian fluently, a unique skill that set him apart, although it remains unclear how this ability may relate to his disappearance.
