Hector Antonio Lemus-Flores, aged 45, was tragically shot and killed on October 16, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lemus-Flores was arriving at Iglesia La Luz del Mundo, a church he regularly attended, for an early morning service. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. when church members heard a gunshot and found him lying next to his car with his Bible about 10 feet away.
