In the crisp evening air of Wednesday, November 30, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the life of 48-year-old African-American male Kenneth Jefferson was tragically cut short. At approximately 8:05 p.m., police responded to a call of a shooting on the 600 block of North 10th Street, near the intersection of Bonanza Road. There, they found Jefferson suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to University Medical Center, but tragically succumbed to his injuries about an hour later.
