In the early afternoon sun of June 7, 2015, a violent encounter in an east Las Vegas neighborhood claimed the life of 20-year-old Aaron Andrew Martinez. A Hispanic male, Martinez was walking on the sidewalk in the 3400 block of Olive Street, near the intersection of May Avenue, when the tragic events unfolded at approximately 12:45 p.m. He was with another man at the time.
