On September 30, 1986, 30-year-old Roger Dale Rucker was reported missing from Soldotna, Alaska. He was aboard the fishing vessel F/V Dru-Drop in the Cook Inlet when he fell overboard. The incident occurred approximately 2.5 miles off the coast of Anchor Point. Immediate searches of the area were conducted but were unsuccessful in locating him. The Alaska State Troopers are the primary investigating agency in this case, and he is listed as a missing person.
