On June 2, 1990, 45-year-old Evan Zaukar was last seen in a boat on the Holitna River, downstream from Kashegelok in the Aniak region of Alaska. An American Indian / Alaska Native male, Zaukar was 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed approximately 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing a brown and green camouflage jacket and brown pants.
