In the late summer of 1993, a sense of unease settled over the remote community of Aniak, Alaska, when 35-year-old Robert Christopher Mark vanished without a trace. A Native American man with black hair and brown eyes, Robert was last seen at a fish camp near Aniak on or around September 1, 1993. At the time of his disappearance, he stood approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed between 150 and 175 pounds. He was known to wear eyeglasses and sometimes had a mustache.
