Norine Higuchi Brown, a 31-year-old woman, was last seen on the night of December 12, 1990, in New Hyde Park, New York. Her husband, John Brown, reported that she left their home at around 11:00 p.m. to buy ingredients for Christmas cookies but never returned. The next morning, her car was found abandoned in a parking lot of a Pathmark supermarket, locked with Christmas presents inside. However, there was no sign of Norine, and no one remembered seeing her inside the store.
