Ann Yermak-Kibalo, a 37-year-old woman, was last seen on February 3, 2001, in New Hyde Park, New York. She disappeared with her two-year-old daughter, Samantha Kibalo, during a court-ordered visitation. At the time, Ann did not have legal custody of her daughter, and after failing to return Samantha to her father, a warrant was issued for Ann's arrest for custodial interference and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
