Richmond Nixon, a 68-year-old man, disappeared from Hampstead, North Carolina, on September 2, 1994. Nixon was last seen near his home on Woodside Drive. On the day of his disappearance, he told neighbors that he planned to take a walk along Highway 17 and into the nearby woods. He was wearing a yellow raincoat and black boots with yellow tips.
