In the late summer of 2023, a family's worry began to unfold in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Jerry Lee Artis, a 66-year-old Black / African American male, was last seen on August 19th of that year. He had been at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center visiting a sick family member. Surveillance video captured him leaving the facility, but from that point forward, his trail went cold.
