Whitney Patrice Reddick, 26, was last seen on April 22, 1998, in Lithonia, Georgia. That evening, she visited her ex-boyfriend at the High Point Apartment Complex on Young Road, staying for about half an hour. She left the apartment around 9:30 p.m., presumably heading home, but never arrived and has not been seen or heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, Reddick was driving a rented lavender 1997 Geo Prizm because her own car had been damaged in a prior accident.
