On a summer morning in Cumming, Georgia, 49-year-old Laurie Marie Sheppa walked away from her basement apartment on Goldmine Drive and vanished. The last time anyone saw her was around 11 a.m. on August 19, 2010. She was seen wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and brown leather sandals.
